The repeat SI Swimsuit model has pivoted to a career in music over the past few years.

A decade ago, Alyssa Miller was an SI Swimsuit “it girl” with three consecutive magazine features in 2011, ’12 and ’13. Her modeling career began when she appeared in a campaign for Stella McCartney at the age of 16.
“A friend of my father’s came over for dinner and convinced my dad that I should model,” she explained. “She had modeled and knew some great agencies in L.A. My dad secretly sent a photo into an agency, and they ended up calling us up; we met, and it took off from there.”
Soon after, Miller landed back-to-back covers of Vogue Italia and Vogue Russia. In 2018, Miller launched Pilgrim, a line of leather handbags, luggage and accessories.
In recent years, the 33-year-old has shifted her focus to music. She has been active on YouTube and created two music videos for her songs “ᴍʏsᴛᴇʀʏ, Yes ” and “Beauty by the Shivers.”
Her Instagram is full of aesthetic and vintage-edited photos of her life as well as teasers of music. Miller has 214,000 followers on the platform and also uses Twitter to give regular updates.
“Success isn’t worth much with out someone to share it with,” she said, adding that she values both passion and honesty in romantic and platonic relationships. “I don’t think my life would hold much meaning if not for my amazing friends and family. So I try not to lose sight of that.”
