Joey Bosa, the Los Angeles Chargers star defensive end, went on offense to buy a new home. He recently purchased a luxurious waterfront estate in Fort Lauderdale, FL, for $5.85 million.
While this residence sits on the opposite coast from his day job, it’ll be ready for Bosa, 26, whenever the season ends.
The listing agent, Tim Elmes with Compass, notes that the property has the advantage of being easy to maintain, adding, “There’s not an acre of lawn to mow.”
Should Bosa decide to entertain at this scenic home, he’ll have two kitchens to keep guests happy.
“The main kitchen is spectacular,” Elmes explains. “But behind that, next to the garage, there’s a complete room with a full fridge, stove, and storage.”
Even if that kitchen was full of caterers working on the prep, he notes, they wouldn’t be visible from the entertaining areas.
Sleek and luxurious, the main kitchen features a huge island with plenty of storage and seating, and a bar with a wine storage wall nearby has even more seating. Both spaces flow into a dining and living space with huge, floor-to-ceiling windows.
“The sunsets from the dining room and living room are spectacular,” Elmes says.
Floating wood and glass stairs lead upstairs to the five bedrooms. All guest rooms come with ensuite bathrooms, and the master bedroom features a private balcony.
For film study, there’s a plush theater room.
An inviting outdoor space offers a lap pool, outdoor kitchen, and fire table. If the NFL star wants to set sail, there’s also a large dock with its own seating area.
