Million-dollar car manufacturer Pagani has just introduced the Huayra R Evo convertible model equipped with a V12 engine.
Pagani has just announced a new super product called “Huayra R Evo”, an upgraded version more powerful than the Huayra R racing car launched in 2021. Pagani has improved many points on this model and equipped it with a roof panel. can be opened, helping to improve the car’s downforce when the roof is removed.
Pagani Huayra R Evo is equipped with aluminum alloy double wishbone suspension and torsion springs and electronic dampers. A new passive damper improves the vehicle’s handling. The car is equipped with Pirelli P Zero Slick tires sized 280/680 R19 at the front and 345/725 R20 at the rear. New CCM-R ventilated carbon ceramic brakes and bespoke racing brakes ensure fast performance.
Pagani gave the Huayra R Evo a codalunga – (long-tail)) “long tail” design by extending the front splitter about 4 inches, integrating a cooling air intake system. At the rear, the car is about 7.5 inches longer, with a large spoiler, fins to help make the car more stable and integrated brackets.
The refined design increases downforce by 45% and the open roof configuration increases total downforce by 5% thanks to increased front and rear longitudinal loads. At 320 km/h, the Huayra R Evo generates more downforce than its running weight. The vehicle has a dry weight of 2,337 pounds (1,060 kg).
The seats of the Pagani Huayra R Evo are covered with fireproof material and have a 6-point safety system and carbon fiber headrests with specialized protection. Pagani can configure the steering wheel on the left and right sides. Mr. Horacio Pagani got the idea for the Evo open-top design while watching a Formula Indy race in Nashville.
Pagani Huayra R Evo is equipped with the Huayra R’s 6.0L V12 engine, called “V12 R-Evo”, for a capacity of 900 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque, an increase of 50 horsepower and 770 Nm respectively. 20 Nm. Increased power comes from a newly designed air intake, new camshaft and customized exhaust system.
Huayra R Evo reaches a maximum speed of 350 km/h. The car is also equipped with a 6-speed sequential gearbox designed by Pagani in collaboration with HWA AG for Huayra racing cars. The mid-synchromesh transmission weighs only 176 pounds (about 80 kg).
Completing the car took about two years and Pagani says it can achieve performance levels comparable to today’s Le Mans Prototype 2 race cars. Hopefully lucky owners will put their cars to the test to verify this.
