The two Pininfarina Battista and B95 electric cars will be supplemented with two special versions inspired by the image of Batman Bruce Wayne.
The Battista and B95 are the two flagship products of the high-performance electric vehicle brand Automobili Pininfarina. While the Battista has a familiar 2-door coupe design, the B95 is a windscreen-less Barchetta model, competing directly with the Ferrari Monza SP1/SP2, Aston Martin DBR22 or McLaren Elva. |
This car company has collaborated with DC Comics to launch a collection inspired by the Batman character – Bruce Wayne. Both models received 2 variations Gotham and Dark Knight. |
Both versions have unique configurations, reflecting the personality of businessman Bruce Wayne and the powerful image of the Dark Knight. |
The Gotham variant features Argento Vittorio Silver paint, with a Nero Torino black roof for the Battista. It also comes with a set of 10-spoke two-tone wheels. |
The interior of the Gotham version is painted in luxurious Tan brown, true to Bruce Wayne’s business style. The Wayne Enterprises logo appears in many locations. |
Meanwhile, the Dark Knight variant features a Nero Profondo black paint job with a Nero Torino ‘Goccia’ black roof. Both models are finished in a Glorioso ceramic protective coating. |
True to Batman’s powerful style, the interior of the Dark Knight version uses premium leather and black Alcantara, with yellow decorative stitching. |
Each car gets a badge with the words “1 of 1” and Bruce Wayne’s signature. The car’s artificial intelligence even mimics the voice of Batman’s butler Alfred Pennyworth. |
The Pininfarina Battista is powered by four electric motors with a combined output of over 1,900 horsepower. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under 2 seconds. Only 150 units will be produced. |
Sharing technology with the Battista, the Pininfarina B95 also has similar specifications. This speedster has a maximum speed of more than 300 km/h. |
Each version is only produced 1 piece. The price of Pininfarina Battista Gotham and Dark Knight is 3.4 million Euro (about 3.6 million USD ). |
Meanwhile, the windshield-less Pininfarina B95 Gotham and Dark Knight cost up to 4.9 million Euros (about 5.2 million USD). It is unclear whether these two B95s were part of the original list of 10 cars to be produced or if they were special additions. |
