Isuzu MU-X MY24
Nothing has been confirmed about Isuzu’s new lineup, but many experts predict that Isuzu will launch a new model called the MU-X, one of its most popular three-row SUVs. The reason is that 2024 is the annual improvement cycle of the Japanese off-road and commercial vehicle specialist.
Usually, the launch of a new car means improvements to the wheels, colors and trim inside and out. For the MU-X, it is speculated that it may be time for the 3.0-liter four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine, multimedia system and suspension components to undergo improvements.
Jeep Wrangler
Although it’s a Jeep, the Wrangler has improved off-road capabilities, helping to increase the appeal of the 4WD line.
Launched in 2019 in Australia, the fourth-generation Wrangler (JL series) has been upgraded and is preparing to launch a new generation in 2024, with small but worthy changes to attract public attention.
Changes include a new grille, new wheels, a redesigned dashboard with a larger central touchscreen, an updated multimedia system, and a higher-quality interior. There are also improvements to safety, with more standard features and driver assistance technology.
Renault Kangoo E-Tech
The new E-Tech is based entirely on the Kangoo Electric, but it will be the first electric truck to be sold in Australia.
Based on the third-generation Kangoo, the E-Tech will be improved to be more spacious, safe and comfortable, and will be available in two versions: the standard L1 with a load volume of 3.3 cubic meters and a payload of 608 kg, and the L2 Maxi Pro with 4.2 cubic meters and 764 kg. The braked towing capacity of both versions is 1,500 kg.
The highlight here is the 90kW/245Nm electric motor combined with a 45kWh battery. The car has a range of about 285km, so recharging is relatively quick and easy.
Suzuki Jimny 5 door
Based on the hugely popular 2-door Wagon of the same name, the 5-door Wagon Jimny is a more practical and spacious version for buyers who need more space and convenience.
At just under 4 metres long, 1.65 metres wide and 1.7 metres tall, the Indian-made Wagon is 340 mm longer than the Japanese-made model, but has the same ground clearance of 210 mm.
1.5-liter 4-cylinder petrol engine driving the rear wheels, 4WD through a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. Towing capacity is 1300 kg (braked) and 350 kg (unbraked).
