The bond between siblings is often the longest-lasting relationship we experience in life. This applies not only to humans but also to animals. Sibling kittens, for instance, share an inseparable connection that sets them apart from others.
Anya Yukhtina, a stunning woman from Moscow, had been searching for a charming ginger cat to adopt. Although she had always desired to have a cat, she struggled to gather the courage to take the leap. However, the time had come, and she finally felt prepared to welcome a furry companion into her life.
On her Facebook account, Anya took to writing a post in search of a ginger kitten, asking if anyone knew of any little ones in need of a loving home. Later that evening, a phone call arrived, originating from one of her father’s acquaintances. This gentleman happened to have a ginger cat in his garden, a mere two weeks old. Unfortunately, Anya couldn’t make it herself, so she sent a friend in her place. To her delightful astonishment, upon her friend’s return, not one, but two ginger kittens were in their care. These adorable furballs were a mere 10 days old, doubling Anya’s joy and surprise.
Anya affectionately named the two ginger kittens Fatty and Skinny, likely due to their contrasting sizes. However, a few days after their arrival, the kittens fell ill with ringworm, a fungal infection that can affect a cat’s fur, skin, and nails. Treating ringworm can be challenging, but fortunately, Anya’s little ones had a relatively easy recovery process. Regular baths every few days and the administration of medication proved effective, and within a short period, they were completely cured.
Due to their young age, Skinny and Fatty required Anya’s guidance to learn how to eat. Patiently, she taught them the necessary skills, and after a month of dedicated effort, the kittens successfully grasped the art of feeding themselves.
Thanks to Anna’s devotion, the kitties have grown great and share an amazing bond.
They’re 8 months old now and in perfect condition. Anya says they are playful and spend their days running after each other. Playtime can be rough sometimes, but never violent.
“They sleep, eat and play together – they’re truly best friends,” Anya says.
“Even when they want to steal something from the table they do it together!”
Anya loves her ginger kittens and has even set up an Instagram account for the two rascals. It’s really amazing to see the two babies saved from death and adopted in the same home.
They will never have to worry about loneliness as they’ll always have Anya on their side.
